We can provide “whole of ship” expedition style programs throughout our operating region. We pride ourselves on working closely with the local people to provide the most authentic experiences for your ship guests as possible.

Whether you need simple access to traditional areas for your own expedition team to provide their own program (snorkeling, beach activities, walks) or you require full guided and managed expedition tour programs for your guests we can provide these services.

INDONESIA

  • INDONESIAN PAPUA; whether for village access and traditional experiences in the remote Asmat region, tours in the city of Jayapura, swimming with whale sharks in Cenderawasih Bay or early morning treks in search of Birds of Paradise in Raja Ampat; together with our local partners in Papua we have you covered for everything you may need to excite and enthrall your ship guests.

  • MALUKU; the original spice islands are great cruising grounds for expeditions ships. Access to white sand beaches and snorkelling in the Kei Islands, unique land programs in places like the Tanimbars, numerous touring options in Ambon, spices galore in the Banda Islands, and many other locations are available for expedition ship visits.

  • NUSA TENGARRA; Buffalo racing on Sumbawa, amazing horseback fighting and the unique high pitched roofed housing of Sumba, the culture of West Timor in Kupang, remote villages on Rote, the beaches and mountains of Flores, endless options and choices abound for expedition programs across these eastern islands of Indonesia.Traditional village visits in Alor are very popular among expedition shipsd the infamous dragons of Komodo are a must visit.

  • JAVA; the most populous island of Indonesia still has numerous options for expedition style visits. The ancient temples of Borobudur and Prambanan, volcano walks at Mount Bromo and Ijen, to the intriguing city of Jogjakarta. The combinations of culture and nature make visits to Java memorable for your guests.

  • INDONESIAN BORNEO; extremely popular among expedition ships primarily for the unique wildlife. The national park at Tanjung Puting gives access to viewing Orangutans, Proboscis Monkeys, Gibbons, Macaques and other primate species, as well as unique birds and reptiles. Activities such as visiting the floating markets of Benjarmasin contrast with the prolific wildlife viewing,

PAPUA NEW GUINEA & SOLOMON ISLANDS

  • MILNE BAY PROVINCE; From the township of Alotau and it’s WWII history, the old colonial capital of Samarai, the unique culture of the Trobriand Islands, volcanic hot springs on Fergusson to numerous white sand beaches and prolific coral reefs this part of PNG can make up an entire itinerary on its own!

  • NEW BRITAIN & NEW IRELAND; ample WWII history, the giant volcano caldera and the destroyed city under ash of Rabaul, incredible islands and reefs off Kavieng, traditional villages galore, the Baining Fire Dancers, traditional shark callers, the New Guinea Islands region also has no shortage of world class expedition experiences for your ships and guests to visit.   • PNG NORTH COAST; the volcanic fjords of Tufi, the township of Madang, surf breaks off Wewak, villages on the Sepik River and their prolific carvings, the cultures and villagers across the northern coastline are extremely diverse and exciting

  • THE HIGHLANDS; while of course the highlands can not be reached by ship directly, side trips by plane for the day or overnight can open up a whole new world when compared to coastal New Guinea. The Mudmen of Asaro can for example be packaged as a day tour by charter flight.

  • SOLOMON ISLANDS; the wreck of the expedition ship MV World Discoverer in the Ngella Islands, extremely remote Vanikoro where French explorer La Perouse met his demise, the incredible wood carvers of Marovo Lagoon, the western outpost of Gizo where JFK’s patrol boat was rammed by a Japanese destroyer in WWII, just like PNG the Solomons has endless choices in incredible destinations to visit by ship.
